João Catarino (1965, Lisbon) is a guest drawing lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon (FBAUL), and teaches at Ar.Co (Lisbon) and ESAD.CR (Caldas da Rainha). He has exhibited in various solo and group shows at municipal, academic, and private galleries. Primarily working in illustration, he contributes regularly to newspapers and magazines, and has participated in both national and international publications on travel journals and sketchbooks. He has also taught at several international Urban Sketchers symposiums.
